Coomera State Special School provides an educational program to support students from Years Prep-12 with a suspected or verified disability. Students who attend Coomera State Special School must have an intellectual disability as their primary disability. Students may have an additional disability including autism spectrum disorder, physical impairment, hearing or vision impairment.
For children of compulsory school age, enrolment is subject to the process outlined in Education Queensland's procedure, Enrolment in State Primary, Secondary and Special Schools (PDF, 309KB).
Parents and carers of children with disabilities who are of compulsory schooling age (five years to school leaving age) should contact the Principal for details of the enrolment processs which involves regional office approval. This will be explained by the Principal.
Students enrolled at Coomera State Speccial School may be eligible for transport assistance. Please contact the school for further information.
